MY26 DesertX: What's New?
The MY26 DesertX introduces a range of mechanical and chassis updates designed to improve the performance, make maintenance simpler, and enhance off-road capability while maintaining the DesertX's proven adventure-touring character.
Key updates include:
- New 890cc Ducati V2 engine featuring Variable Intake Timing (IVT)
- Maintains 110 hp, now delivered at 9,000 rpm
- 92 Nm of torque with a broader, more usable power delivery
- New aluminium monocoque frame replacing the previous steel trellis design
- New 18-litre polymer fuel tank with replaceable side covers
- Reduced weight, with a dry weight of approximately 209 kg
- Improved air filter access for easier servicing and maintenance
- Revised KYB suspension setup with updated linkage and geometry
