This
is today's trip...
This morning Kevin started the day
in glorious sunshine, Mr McDonald was kind enough to make breakfast with a
view out to the water with all the fishing boats docked and by 7:30 he was
on the road again for the last 400K ride into Phillip Island.

shining, water like glass, breakfast eaten and a little under 400K run down the
road to go... |

Water
like glass everywhere you look and there the GS just waiting to hit the
road. |

Besides
a quick coffee at Sale, it was sit back and cruise and around 12 midday he
arrived at the GAP, checked in had a quick change and dropped all the
gear off the bike and got to the track. |

BMW's
hospitality tent, where for a small fee ($695) you can be fed, drink light
refreshments, be at the track for 3 days and sit in their private
grandstand that looks up to the start/finish line and the pits exit.
This year BMW also have alcohol available as they have a cash till for
those that want a little more than light refreshment. |

How's
the serenity???
Food, drink, big screen TV, live
track, and two large LCD TVs inside (one keeping all the stats for everyone
to watch).
Well tomorrow, practise starts in
earnest for the big one and two on Sunday. Lets hope Xaus can keep
it on two wheels as he dropped it three times today. |
